Ampersand Health and Calpro AS team up to improve patient care

UK digital therapeutics company Ampersand Health and Norwegian biotech Calpro AS have integrated a digital therapeutics platform which connects clinicians and patients, improving efficiencies by 47%. The integration will enable patients to initiate the CalproSmart Self-Test from home, and share the results in the app for clinicians to review alongside lifestyle, symptom and wearable data on a single dashboard portal that provides a 360 view of a person’s condition.

Skey Network launches a crypto competition for startups

The global contest, with a $1m USD prize fund, is designed to be a catalyst for adoption of blockchain of things (BoT) products and technology. The competition will open to any startup across the world from 1st December 2021 when the source code will be uploaded to GitHub. The competition will close at the end of January with winners announced in March 2021.

Made Tech continues expansion with appointment of new CFO

Public sector delivery provider, Made Tech, has announced the appointment of Deborah Lovegrove as its new CFO. She will also be responsible for leading the finance operation in all areas, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax and investor relations and delivering financial and commercial support to the leadership team. The appointment follows Made Tech’s listing on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in September, where it achieved a market capitalisation of approximately £180.7million.

Juggle Jobs brings in new Chief Product Officer

The VC backed business has appointed Vicki Fraser, formerly director of product management at Skyscanner, as Chief Product Officer. Fraser has 15 years’ experience building product teams and will be responsible for leading the evolution of Juggle Jobs’ services as the business accelerates development after raising $2m from global VCs last year. Founded in 2017, the flexible hiring marketplace supports companies in finding, onboarding, paying, and managing, experienced flexible professionals.

Avanade to acquire UK-based Microsoft Business Applications provider QUANTIQ

Avanade has agreed to acquire QUANTIQ, a Microsoft Business Applications-focused systems integrator in the UK. QUANTIQ will significantly extend Avanade’s Dynamics 365 capabilities and build on its existing cloud-based Microsoft Business Application offerings.

KX launches its on-demand training portal for developer community

KX has announced the launch of the KX Academy, an online portal for on-demand training. The academy aims to give both experienced and new KX users access to free self-led interactive training and on-demand training videos, and access to a live sandbox development environment with preloaded data sets.

Vattenfall Solar Team Heads to Solar Challenge Morocco

17 engineering students from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands will head to the Solar Challenge Morocco, a 2,500-kilometre race for solar-powered cars built and run by the world’s leading technical universities. It’ll be backed by technology from Citrix to create a secure digital workspace where it can share the information needed to ensure its car and drivers perform at their best. The team uses real-time race data on weather, road conditions, and car performance, correlated with historic data to ensure their car is as efficient as possible.
